2025 DTM Year in Review

13th Cohort Admissions Open

DTM opened applications for its 13th cohort in 2025, continuing its mission to cultivate global sports leaders. Selected candidates are offered a full scholarship, including tuition, living expenses, and round-trip airfare, allowing talented individuals from around the world to study at Seoul National University without financial burden.

Global Alumni Stories

This year’s newsletter featured inspiring interviews with DTM alumni from diverse countries such as Kosovo, Indonesia, and Ghana. These stories highlighted how DTM has empowered them to build impactful careers in sports policy, international organizations, and community development back home.

Field Experience & Internships

DTM students participated in hands-on internships at leading institutions such as Taekwondowon, KISS (Korea Institute of Sport Science), and others. They also visited iconic sports venues, engaged in winter sports activities, explored Korean cultural heritage in Hanok villages, and learned firsthand about the operations behind professional sports.

Faculty & Mentorship

The program welcomed a new faculty member, Dr. Bryce Changwon Oh, who brings fresh expertise and international perspective. In parallel, the DTM mentoring program strengthened ties between current students and alumni, fostering career development and lifelong networks.

11th Cohort Graduation

In early 2025, DTM celebrated the graduation of its 11th cohort. The ceremony brought together students, alumni, faculty, and friends to reflect on achievements and celebrate new beginnings. It was not just a farewell but a warm welcome into the ever-growing DTM alumni family.
