- [Graduation Ceremony : Class of 2014 - 2016]Date & Time : December 16th, 2015 17:00 - 20:00Venue : Building 12 Room 401 & Hoam Faculty House, Convention Center, 1F, Magnolia HallOn this day, Dream Together Master 2nd batch students had their graduation ceremony. These students have fulfilled all requirements for graduation and is scheduled to graduate from Seoul National University with a Master's degree in Sport Management in August 2016. They have had to accomplish a great deal over the past 16 months to arrive the moment. Gazing backwards to the past, there was a long and challenging pathway that has led to this day. The students know that each other is the most precious gifts that they will carry away from Korea, and the knowledge they have gained from the lectures, the friendships and networks they have created will become assets in their future careers and lives. We hope these students be part of an extraordinary initiative in contributing to the development of sport worldwide. - [Sports Field Trip] Wonju Basketball League
- DTM students visited Wonju Dongbu Promy Basketball Team's home ground on December 11th, 2015 to learn an advanced operation system of pro sports teams and experience sports event and marketing. The students were offered a chance to look around modern facilities at Wonju Gymnasium.Date: December 11th, 2015 (Friday)Venue: Wonju Main Gymnasium (Gangwon Province)Dream Together Master Program students including the 2nd and 3rd batch attended the sport field trip to Wonju Dongbu Promy Basketball Team's home ground.A group photo after 2hour journey to Wonju.Staff members and students having a photo with their basketball league's VIP seat ticket.DTM students were selected to have a opportunity of 'high-five cheering' event with the athletes in the beginning of the game.Students (Sompob, Ali, Dominic, Vinh) were asked to attend a short Korean speaking event during the game.Green uniformed Dongbu team athletes were very enthusiastic.Students taking a photo infront of their VIP seats.Ten female students were selected to attend a 'Tug-of-war' event during the game. - [Class] Module 11 Sport Sponsorship & Social Responsibility
- The central goal of this module is to provide the student with both a theoretical and an applied understanding of the values and limits to sponsorship. A second focus for the module is to understand the relationship between sponsorship and social responsibility. Views from both the sponsor and sponsee will be considered. The module on the one hand views sponsorship as a funding source for sport and on the other as a marketing platform for sponsors. - A special Lecture was held on December 05th, 2015 at Seoul National University Bldg 153 Room 411. In the lecture, Professor Marlene Dixon the president of North American Society for Sport Management, Professor Karen Danylchuk the vice-president of World Association for Sport Management, Professor Kong-Ting Yeh the president of Asian Association for Sport Management and Professor Munehiko Harada the president of Japanese Association for Sport Management delievered a lecture. Students did not hesitate in raising a question to each lecture.
