January 25 – 27, 2016
Day 1
DTM Class of 2017 students started an exciting journey by visiting the Gangneung Ice Arena in Gangwon province. At the arena, the students got explanation on how the venue will be used at the Olympic and tried how to ice skate. Then, the class took the road to go to the main destination, the Alpensia Resort where the Winter Olympics will be done in 2018.
At the resort, the students got chance to meet the venues & facilities planning department director of the PyeongChang 2018 Organizing Committee, Ms. Yae-sung Lim, who gave an insightful view of how the Organizing Committee is preparing for upcoming important events.
Day 2
The second day brought another new experience for the majority of the students, ski. With all the equipment and the enthusiasm, the students started climbing the hill with the help of the great instructors at the place. The class had so much fun learning ski although many of them fell down several times. It was a day of excitment and enjoyment.
