Dream Together Master 10th batch went to the National Gugak Center for a field trip on September 22, 2022. To begin the field trip the 10th batch learned how to play a traditional Korean instrument called the ‘Janggu’. A professional artist came to teach us some dynamic rhythms and a traditional song called the ‘Arirang’.
Seeing the students from all around the world connect with traditional Korean music was a scene to remember.
After our session of experiencing the Janggu, we all moved to the Gugak Museum for an exhibition and historical background of Korean traditional music and instruments. This was also interesting because we were able to listen, touch and see a variety of different things.
