This year’s forum was an optimum place to share and discuss future strategies and to present sports visions for ethical management of sports organizations by inviting the world class authorities from influential global sports organizations such as Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), Association of National Olympic Committee (ANOC), Transparency International (TI), and World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and the world famous institution, University of Michigan.
Distinguished speakers, François Carrard, Chairman of FIFA Reform Committee, was the keynoter this year and presented ‘Transparency in Sport Governance.’ Michael Chambers, Chairman of ANOC Legal Commission, presented on the topic ‘Integrity and Ethics in Sport.’ David Howman, Former Director-General of WADA, addressed the topic of ‘Challenges to the Integrity of Sport.’ Professor Stefan Szymanski of University of Michigan, a world-renowned scholar in sport economics addressed the topic of ‘The Bidding Process for the Sports Mega-Events and Corruption Issues.’ Last but not least, Sylvia Schenk, Chair of the Working Group on Sport in Transparency International Germany, presented ‘Anti-Corruption Movement in German Sport and Prevention in Match-Fixing.’
