This course aims to introduce the key concepts of Olympic system and help students to understand how people can assess and measure sports governance. Also, the course provides an opportunity to analyze the governance of sports organizations.

Prof. Jean-Loup Chappelet who has involved in the Olympic System for more than 40 years has gave us a lecture with Module 28 Olympic System and International Sport.

Professor has emphasized the fundamental prinicple of Olympic character. “The Olympic Movement is the concerted, organised, universal and permanent action, carried out under the supreme authority of the IOC, of all individuals and entities who are inspired by the values of Olympism. It covers the five continents. It reaches its peak with the bringing together of the world’s athletes at the great sports festival, the Olympic Games. Its symbol is five interlaced rings.&”
Professor gave the hope and ability to host an event to the DTM students from different developing countries.
