The Dream Together Program annually has a Team Project where every batch participates in a sport event for research and contribute to hosting the event in different parts. As a part of Team Project, Dream Together Master 9th batch students participated in the Goyang 2022 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships and played a role as a volunteer (Team assistance) from April 18th to 24th, 2022. DTM students were assigned to the Taekwondo teams based on their nationality.
The students have been divided into small teams to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the international championships operations and have provided constructive feedback on what improvements can be made after the championships ended.
Some of the specific roles of the DTM students are as follows: Each countries team language service support, lead, guide and accompany the international athlete’s schedule, support for contacting the person in charge of each field (field training ground) and the team, communicating with the athletes on any notifications, meetings and between the organization committee.
Some of the expected effects of the team project was for the students to have an opportunity to gain administrative experience related to holding sports events through volunteer activities. Additionally, contributed to the smooth progress of the competition by interpreting and supporting feedback from athletes and team officials.
