The forum also intended to celebrate its second year of launching the Dream Together Master Program. The Dream Together Master Program is a full scholarship graduate program funded by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism (MCST) and the Korea Foundation for the Next Generation Sports Talent (NEST) which uses the national sports promotional funds that aim to educate next generation sport administrators as a part of the national project to contribute to international sport development.Experts from the field of sport development participated as speakers of the ‘2014 Dream Together Forum, Seoul’. They include Professor Jean-Loup Chappelet, Public Management at the Swiss Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP), Professor Gertrud Ursula Pfister, Department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sport, University of Copenhagen, Mr. Gerardo René Aguirre Oestmann, President of Guatemalan Olympic Committee, and Mr. Barry Maister ONZM, IOC member of New Zealand. - A special Lecture was held on November 25th, 2014 at Seoul National University. The Ms. Theresa (Seung-yun) Rah from Oratio gave a lecture with the topic "How to Communicate with Confidence". - [Korean Culture Tour] '88 Olympic Park & Jamsil Baseball Stadium
- DTM studetns visited Olympic park which provided students an opportunity to understand the impact that the 1998 Seoul Summer Olympics had on the development of sport in Kroea. - Mr. Adam Pengilly's special Lecture was held on November 17, 2014 at Seoul National University Bldg. 12 Room 401. During the lecture, he addressed that BUPs which is The Basic Universal Principles of Good Governance for the Olympic and Sports Movement should be adapted to evaluate how well international sports federations are governed. Also, the governance theories should be used as a framework to assess how international sports federations are governed. - [Sports Field Trip] Maritime Sport Experience
- Prior to the education, students were provided a safety education on aquatic sports. Then, professional and experienced instructers gave lesson on Yacht and Windsurfing. Though it seems to be complicating and difficult, all the students were able to manage the aquatic equipments, at the end of the lecture. - [Sports Field Trip] Suwon Bluewings Stadium
- [Sports Field Trip] Suwon World Cup Stadium - Class of 2015 & 2016The class of 2015 and 2016 students visited the main facilities of the Suwon Samsung Bluewings. The students were able to visit the Suwon World Cup Stadium, also known as the “Big Bird Stadium” as well as the Bluewings’ clubhouse. As a sports physiologist, he emphasized on the importance of regular exercise based on various scientific research that he has conducted such as resistance training, hind limb suspension, casting model and oriental medicine (herbal medicine and acupuncture).
