With the intensive nature of the DTM program, my journey in SNU’s DTM program has been nothing but a whirlwind of surprises; it has been nothing short of fascinating and fast-paced. From exploring innovative knowledge in sports management to pulling all-nighters to perfecting PowerPoint presentations, the first semester has pushed me beyond my limits and opened my eyes to a world of opportunities. Engaging in collaborative assignments and learning from industry experts have not only sharpened my skills but also fueled my passion for making a mark in the field. Each day presents a new challenge and a chance to grow, making this journey truly transformative.
Beyond academics, my main objective is to build meaningful friendships and create unforgettable memories during my time in Korea. As the 12th batch president, I take pride in fostering a sense of unity and friendship among my classmates. I always remind them to embrace every moment, enjoy the process, and have as much fun as possible, even amidst the rigors of our program. Whether it’s through group activities or simply sharing laughter during late-night study sessions, I strive to ensure that we not only achieve academic success but also cherish the unique experiences that make our journey truly special.
To strengthen our bond, we make it a tradition to celebrate every student’s birthday together, ensuring no one feels away from home on their special day. Last year, we hosted our first-ever Christmas party, complete with festive decorations, gift exchanges, and warm holiday cheer. To wrap up an incredible year, we organized a memorable year-end party where we reflected on our achievements and cherished the moments that brought us closer as a batch. These shared experiences have not only enriched our time here but also created a lasting sense of belonging and joy that we will carry forward.
As I reflect back on this incredible first semester, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities, challenges, and relationships that have shaped my experience in the DTM program. The combination of academic rigor, personal growth, and the friendship we’ve built as a unit has made this chapter of my life truly unforgettable.
