We had a chance to Interview The Dream Together Master Program Associate Director, Professor Yongho Lee. Prof. Lee was assigned as the Associate Director since 2020 until now. Over the pass few years, our associate director has been a huge help to DTM and has participated in most of the events, in the classroom and also outside on field-trips.
Let’s get right in to the interview.
- Please explain the position of Associate Director of DTM. When did your term start?
I started the position of Associate Director of DTM in March of 2020. This position requires to be the representative of DTM in the absence of the Director and participate in events such as field-trips, graduation, welcoming dinner, meetings with other associations.
- What is the most memorable DTM activity as the Associate Director of DTM?
The most memorable DTM event was both the maritime and winter sports field trip. This is because it was a chance to see the DTM students to experience a variety of summer sports and winter sports where most of the students have never experienced before.
- Do you have any evaluation and advice on the DTM program as a researcher and professional in the special population sports field?
I think that Sport for Special Population is especially more underdeveloped in ODA countries. So, if the DTM students comes and learn more about this field I believe the growth in sports will develop equally.
- If you could give a tip to DTM students who are currently attending?
Most of the students come here for the degree in Global Sport Management. This is respectful and I hope you guys do your best in study, however, as much as you guys are abroad from your own countries experience to the fullness in culture. Korea is a very unique country culturally, with traditional architecture and food, and things like k-drama. So please, go out and experience more.
- Lastly, could you give advice to future applicants who want to apply to DTM?
Just as I have said in the previous question, DTM is a great program, with high ranking in Global Sports Management. It will be a life changing experience so do your best to apply, and I hope to see future DTM students really soon.
