In October, Dream Together Master hosted the second alumni reunion “Dream Together Plus” which brought 10 graduates and their respective heads of the organizations back to Seoul, Korea. Organized by the Dream Together Master with support from the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, the gathering offered an opportunity for DTM alumni to forge a robust network, enhance the mutual cooperation among sports administrators in the world, and celebrate its sixth year of launching the program.
During this period of time, the participants visited several sports-related organizations and facilities such as Korea Institute of Sport Science, Jincheon National Training Center, and Korea Sports Promotion and Foundation, looked around cultural and historical sites, and watched a professional volleyball league match.
The event also included presentations by the respective heads of the organizations on topics relating to the current issues of sport management in modern society and cooperation between Korea and developing countries. Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Deputy Secretary General of National Olympic Committee of Bangladesh, Falcon D. Sedimo, Chief Executive Officer of Botswana National Sport Commission, Vandeerson Berbat, Director of Impulsiona Program, Top Panha, Project Manager of National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, Andres Dario Tobon Castrellon, Coordinator Zone 3 of Ministry in Territory Ecuador, Nilesh Jalnawala, Director of Jalnawallas Sports Training & Research Centre, Demayanti Nasution, Deputy of Human Resources and Volunteer Department at Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee, Sawsan Shaikh Saleh Qaddoumi, Education manager of National Olympic Committee, Ramona Mohd Razali, Deputy Secretary General(Strategic Affairs) of Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia, and Supitr Samahito, Vice President of National Olympic Committee discussed how sport can go beyond the game itself to improve quality of life and happiness by strengthening mutual cooperation between Korea and developing countries.
The alumni reunion concluded with attendance of the Dream Together Seoul Forum 2018 attended by world renowned speakers, more than 300 guests, DTM staffs, and professors.
