Five DTM graduates out of 13 global participants have successfully completed the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Education Program.
Five of our DTM students from various batches, Bin Mujail Mazhan (Malaysia), Juan Pablo Alvarado (Guatemala), Aldo Tong (Philippines), Pacharakamon Arkornsakul (Thai), and Gobinath Sivarajah (Sri Lanka) took part in the 8th National Institute of Fitness and Sports International Sport Academy (NIFISA) as a part of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Education Program, held in Kagoshima and Tokyo, Japan from August 27th to September 7th.
The NIFISA program consisted of sport management lectures by domestic and international professors, Japanese cultural activities, Japanese traditional sport experiences such as Judo, Kendo and Naginata, sport facility tour to the Ajinomoto National Training Center and Nippon Sport Science University, a two-day homestay with a Japanese family, and sight-seeing.
At the end of the day, the participants presented their experiences in various topics such as Sport Management, Olympics, etc. Two DTM graduates, Juan Pablo Alvarado and Aldo Tong, were selected as recipients of the best presentation award.
