[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Dream Together Plus was held on 24th to 29th October 2016. It is organized by the Dream Together Master Program whose vision is to promote global sports development through educating international sport administrators and establish a global sport network. The Dream Together Plus aims for forging robust network and enhancing the mutual cooperation among sports administrators in the world, DTM alumni, and current DTM students. The participants consisted of 10 alumni(1st and 2nd batch) of Dream Together Master Program from 10 countries and 9 executive official from each national sports organizations.
During one-week schedule, the participants visited several sports-related organizations and facilities in Korea, went famous places in Korea, and watched a professional basketball league match of Samsung Thunders at Jamsil sports arena and performance of the Taekwondo team at Kukkiwon, the world Taekwondo headquarter. Most importantly, they attended the Dream Together seminar and the Dream Together Forum.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Through the field trip to sports organizations such as Korea Institute of Sports Science(KISS) and Korea Sports Promotion Foundation(KSPO), the participants had opportunities to examine how the sports administration system of Korea operates. They visited Sansawon in Pocheon to experience Korean traditional culture and Gyeongbokgung, the ancient palace of Korea. [/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Dream Together Plus seminar was held on October 26th 2 p.m. at Yangduseok hall in Gwanjeong library of Seoul National University, Korea. In the first part, 6 representatives from each country presented the pending issues and the way to develop sports in their countries. The executives from 6 countries also delivered speeches about the international cooperation by sharing experiences, human resources, and systems to foster sports development. ABD Mutalib Mazlan Bin, the vice minister of Malaysia Youth and Sport Ministry, made emphasis on the cooperation between Malaysia and Korea in terms of sports facilities, education, science, and administration. After having a short break, the alumni presented how they contributed to sports development of their countries after graduation. M.K.A. Anoma Rathnayaka from Sri Lanka National Olympic Committee, one of the 1st batch DTM student, talked on the leverage of Dream Together Master Program`s philosophy in development of global sports.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
