A special Lecture was held on June 2nd, 2016 at Seoul National University Building 152 Seminar Room. Prof. Joshua Newman gave a lecture about the American Sport Industry.

Prof. Joshua Newman talked about the US Sport System which affects Markets, Society and Education.
Professor mentioned that the total value of US Sports Industry has increased by approximately 10% per year over the past three decades. But still the commercialization of girls’ and women’s sport has resulted in new forms of sexism (and racism). Sport has become an important social and cultural apparatus for promoting free market ideologies.
