[Class] Module 19 Sport Public Relations
This course is a graduate-level independent learning class on various aspects of sport public relations. This course is designed to develop and apply an understanding of the concepts
and principles of public relations in sport organizations (e.g., National Olympic Committee, college & professional sports). Sport public relations is a management function where practitioners use communication skills to foster positive relationships with key publics (e.g., media, community, & consumers).

Professor explaining about PR Campaign. There are various types of sport PR campaigns; those campaigns are often designed to attract media attention and to improve organization’s image.

Students shared and analized their real-life public relations issues.

Students selected a major sport organization of their choice and analyzed the factual information like annual report executive summary, communication strategy, and positioning strategy as well as current IMC tactics.

Students developed a self-publicity video as a part of in-class activities, which can also be used as video resume.
