Dream Together Master 5th batch students went on a field trip to PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics. It was the second visit to PyeongChang, following the field trip and the winter sports camp a month ago. DTM not only enjoyed the worldwide winter sports festival, but also analyzed the mega sports event held in Korea, preparing for their ‘team-project’. The DTM’s passion ‘connected’ made the moment fruitful and memorable. DTM visited Gangneung Olympic Park, Curling Center, and PyeongChang Sliding Center.
Departed at 06:00 AM, DTM arrived at Gangneung early in the morning. The venue was already crowded for the Curling Mixed Doubles Match. The game between Athletes of Russia (OAR)and Norway intrigued DTM in many perspectives. The reason Russian players could not play under Russian flag, the rules and the characteristics of Curling, the other games of Winter Olympics and more. Athletes of Russia won the bronze medal and both teams presented a priceless memory to the whole audience in the venue.
Gangneung Olympic Park was full of spectacles. Super Stores, ICT zones, and the Information Halls of the official sponsors. 4th Batch students Eduardo Butter and Enkhtsatsral Ulzii Orshiikh, who are contributing to the PyeongChang 2018, guided and assistd 5th Batch students to fully experience the PyeongChang 2018. It was memorable to actually feel the close bond of the DTM network.
The last visit was to PyeongChang Sliding Center, in which held the Women’s Singles Luge competition. Overcoming penetrating cold of the PyeongChang, every 5th Batch student climbed up to the venue and enjoyed Luge competition. The great speed of the luge reflected the enthusiasm of the Winter Olympics. 4th batch student Juan Carlos, currently doing his internship program in PyeongChang 2018 visited 5th batch. The priceless moment will be engraved forever in DTM.
The field trip to the PyeongChang 2018 is now over, however, the team project of the DTM now begins.
DTM’s interest and study continues.
