  • [Special Lecture] Prof. Ben Corbett
  • Prof. Ben Corbett's special lecture was held on October 29th, 2015 at Seoul National University Building 152 Seminar Room. With the title "Fostering Innovative Culture in Sport Organisations" Prof. Ben Corbett introduced the concept of innovation in sport. He shared the idea of innovation, entrepreneurship, managing sport organisations, creating a culture within the sport organisation that allows people to develop new ideas. He also said to think outside box, nurturing the culture so not punishing people for taking the risk, and to develop new ideas, and to take it initiative.   • [Special Lecture] Mr. Thierno Alassane Diack
  • Mr. Thierno Alassane Diack's special Lecture was held on October 27th, 2015 at Seoul National University Bldg 152 Seminar Room. In his lecture, Mr. Thierno Alassane Diack shared the vision and development of Olympafrica International Foundation where Mr. Diack is an executive director. He has introduced that slogan of Olympafrica Foundation is "Bridging the Gap, Speaking Sports, Building Peace" which shows goals to achieve. Olympafrica is helping disadvantaged communities to grow in peace, respect and friendship; for yoursters to expect a bright future, and really make their dreams. He emphasized that a very simple idea to a platform that is used by millions of kids to "dream together".   • [Extracurricular] ISC Conference 2015
  • [Extracurricular] ISC Conference 2015 The Dream Together Master 2nd and 3rd batch students attended the ISC Conference 2015 which was held in Grand Ballroom, The Plaza Hotel, Seoul on Oct 26th, 2015. The conference was hosted by the International Sport Cooperation Center of Korea (ISC) and the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) under the theme of "Sport for a Better World". Renowned experts in the sports industry including UNHCR Korea Representative Dirk Hebecker, Professor of Seoul National University Taekyoon Kim, Olympafrica Foundation CEO Thierno Alassane Diack, and Professor of Gyeongsang National University Jae-Pil Ha participated as speakers and shared their thoughts. This conference was funded by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics Organizing Committee. She explained the vision of PyeongChang 2018 Games is "New Horizons", venues and infrastructure, transport and more.   • Banquet for DTM at NEST Foundation
  • Dream Together Master visited Korea Foundation for the Next Generation Sports Talent (NEST Foundation) in October 20th, 2015. Director Kihan Kim, Professor Choonggeun Lee, Mrs. Nami Kim the secretary general of NEST foundation, the 3rd batch Dream Together Master students, staffs of NEST and staffs of DTM were invited to wecome the 3rd batch students. We could listen to all students self-introduction and their great dreams.   • Information Session with International Organization for Migration
  • Representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) including Laurent DE BOECK (Head), Ryung Shim (Program Development Officer), Dustin Kerns (Project Coordinator) and Miah Park (Head of Office) visited office of the Dream Together Master Program and had a productive meeting with Director Kihan Kim. The IOM, an organization promoting ethical recruitment of migrant workers in cooperation with a wide range of actors interested in the issue, had a huge interest in the Dream Together Master Program. Representatives of the IOM and Director Kihan Kim shared each organization's mission and vision and built a relationship through discussing about the future cooperation plans within the organizations.   • [Special Lecture] Ms. Theresa (Seung-yun) Rah
  • Ms. Theresa (Seung-yun) Rah's special Lecture was held on October 7th, 2015 at Seoul National University Bldg 152 Seminar Room. In her lecture, Ms. Theresa Rah mentioned that the PyeongChang Olympic 2018 is already successful because of the committee's leadership, encouragement for women and communication skills with understanding. She shared the power of body language in communications and different more skills. She emphasized that Dream Together Master students probably know how to work internationally, they will just need to pay attention and listen to each other with different culture and accent.
