  • The aim of the module is to develop a critical understanding of the policy process in relation to sport, and it provides an understanding of the concept of policy and the nature of interests and power in the policy process.   • The central goal of this module is to develop a critical understanding of sport development, and in particular the ‘sport for development and peace’ (SDP) sector.   • A special Lecture was held on June 16th, 2016 at Seoul National University Building 152 Seminar Room. The Director and Gold-medalist of Korea Bobsleigh Skeleton Team gave a lecture about the "Fostering Innovation of the Korean Bobsleigh Team and the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Preparation".   • A special Lecture was held on June 2nd, 2016 at Seoul National University Building 152 Seminar Room. Prof. Joshua Newman gave a lecture about the American Sport Industry.   • [Sport Field Trip] Seoul E.Land FC Soccer Team
  • In hopes of spreading and developing international sports markets, Students of developing countries were invited to participate in a visit to the Seoul Olympic Main Stadium, the largest stadium in Korea as well as the location of the 1988 Olympic game. During the visit, the students were granted the privilege of meeting and interacting with the Seoul E-Land Football Club’s players and associated staff members in the team’s locker rooms and operation offices, which are areas restricted to outsiders.   • The goals of this course to understand the foundational principles of contract and labor law and common contract and labor law doctrines that control parties in sport business and to develop critical mindset in sport-related agreements and labor negotiations.   • The module aims to provide the student with both a theoretical and an applied understanding of how the sport industry and media work together. The module is specifically designed to develop an appreciation of the sport media and communication process as it relates to the sport organizations, sponsors, advertisers, the customers, fans, the public, and related policy makers.   • [Sport Field Trip] Gocheok Sky Dome Baseball Stadium
  • As an extracurricular activity, the opportunity to visit to Gocheok Sky Dome, the Nexen Heroes’ home stadium was given to the DTM students. Gocheok Sky Dome is well known as the first dome stadium in Korea. This new experience gave students the privilege to learn about the team’s management operations, facility administration, and sports marketing strategies. Date: May 24th, 2016 (Tuesday)Venue: Gocheok Sky Dome Baseball StadiumDream Together Master Program 3rd batch students attended the sport field trip to Nexen Heroes Basketball Club's home ground.A group photo before entering the Gocheok Sky Dome Stadium. We saw 30 different restaurants and shops where baseball fans can enjoy their time.
